Mimi, Axladitsa’s two apartments overlook the Aegean Sea. They are five minutes by car from the local beach, Kastri and 10 minutes from Platanias, the local fishing village. They look outwards, a perfect spot to rest, be with friends and family or to work remotely from, even perhaps to write a book?
The Farm
The olive trees, fruit trees, woodland, & kitchen garden create a more than human ecology. Unlike an industrial farm, the cultivation is natural and regenerative, with loving care offered in manner that is as least intrusive as possible. Communing with the natural cycles of the seasons enables coming into rhythm and relationship with the earth as kin.
The Area
Axladitsa is nested in South Pelion, a remote and beautiful area with its shades of green from the holm oaks, pines and olive trees and the blue of the Aegean Sea and sky. Whatever season, the natural beauty is awe inspiring, inviting us to deepen within ourselves whilst also the natural world.
