Axladitsa’s Living Place

It is on the land’s second hill that you will find Mimi, Axladitsa’s accommodation. Two fully fitted apartments, side by side, look out over the wide vista of the Aegean’s blue sea and sky. Hosting up to six people each, they are containers for families, friends, learners and individuals, for people who are seeking deeper reconnection to self, other, place. As the Greek word φιλοξενία (philoxenia, hospitality) means, it is a space for befriending the stranger – within and without.

We decided to ‘open the doors’, even though Mimi is still in the making.  The reason for this is that we want to share the story that you will become a part of, as you come and live some life here.

Hosting is a core Axaditsa practice. Mimi offers two apartments for all seasons. Either for short lets or longer periods, the living space is designed to be adaptable and versatile. Each apartment offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open plan living room and kitchen with stunning views over the Aegean. Up to 6 people can stay at one time in each apartment. The space is created to feel like home, whether you are a group who is coming to learn from the land, you have gathered for a family celebration or whether you have come for a longer period to write a book or take a sabbatical.

The Area

Axladitsa and Mimi are nested within the Promyri area, the heel of the Pelion peninsula, right opposite the Sporades islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonisos.
