Farming at Axladitsa is a fusion of following nature, using knowledge passed through generations and a steep learning curve in the face of a radically changing climate and the social degradation of the local rural area. Regeneration is our guiding practice, working with strengthening the self organised ecosystem, ensuring that what we do at Axladitsa adds value to the surrounding Promyri and South Pelion area.
We have embarked on a learning journey to produce organic artisanal high quality extra virgin, cold pressed olive oil that comes from lovingly tending the olive trees. We are also exploring a community supported agriculture, placing relationships above consumerism. We are becoming a regenerative farm where others can also come and learn as well as bring their knowledge for exchange.
Together we want to make a contribution to restoring hope in farming for younger generations and existing farmers. A social return to creating a vibrant local community, economic viability based on regenerative farming, whilst tending the natural environment in terms of biodiversity and soil health.
