Learning Ecology

Learning is a daily activity at Axladitsa, especially learning what living wholeness practically means. This includes human and more than human life, opening ourselves to deep relationship with place and potential, individually and collectively. The land’s seasons and weather patterns, its ecosystem of olive trees, fruit trees, vegetable gardens and its wilder woodland and stream beds (remas) mirrors what people come to learn at Axladitsa. This land is immersive and deeply calm, yet offers a vibrant atmosphere (mainly from the more than human aspects). It is a container where people learn with their hands, hearts and minds, seeking wisdom from the inside out.

Learning Programmes

Our learning programmes are based on place based systems learning and include immersions, residencies, collective inquiries, training and retreats. We learn at three levels; developing our ways of knowing, deepening into our ways of being and shifting our ways of doing. We offer communities – local and international – those we are actively a part of and those we would like to get to know – a space to come and learn from one’s inner field, each other and from the land. Having fun, enjoying good company (parea), conversations around good food and just being, are signature ways of learning at Axladitsa. We invite us to bring co-evolving questions that help us to live into ‘not knowing’ to discover new potential and new ways of regenerative living and working.  Join us!
